The test engine is incorporated with the user interface for the teachers to frame the questions for the test takers. These questions of different subjects are stored in a database/repository and are uploaded to the server. The teachers are intended to follow a standard format of framing the questions. At first the question based on a particular topic is framed and each question is followed by four options out of which one will be the apt. And these options in turn are followed by that correct answer.
The bulk of questions are been stored in the server. The test takers can be of two types. One, those who take the test online. Two, the third party device ,TeGo -The Auto electronic portable device users. The first are required to register themselves, and using the same login ID and Password they can take the test and evaluate themselves which is as good as an online test engine exam. Here the test is taken directly from the server by the end-user. The later, can access the test engine only when their device is availed with Wi-Fi and here the device is enabled with a port number which is registered prior to its activation. The data from the server is sent to that particular port when the test engine is been requested by the test taker by accessing the suitable widgets provided. The test taker can evaluate himself by checking out the correct answers for the questions posed and finally can close the session as well.
The TeGo is a simple device with a classical model.There is a display screen, with a high resolution.There are some buttons provided to start,stop and to navigate on either sides. The gadget is in-built with a Wi-Fi receiver. In order to take the test,the user has to enter the registration number,which is unique.He can choose any particular chapter or a topic of any subject of his like.Before the user is ready to head start with the challenge to test himself,he has to confirm the device to load the data from the server.Now as the data is retrieved from the server,the data in the form of questions framed with the options is displayed. The user has to click the right one within the stipulated time.In case the question is not attended,within the stipulated time , the data is reloaded and puts forth a new question.After the whole paper is submitted the user is given with the result.This is how the TeGo works.
